Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. Are tickets refundable?  No, tickets are non-refundable.

 

2. Is the time on my ticket the opener, or the headliner?  Shows start time listed on the ticket- opening act or not. Main act starting time vs opening act is never guaranteed 

 

3. Do you have acommodations for people of all abilities? Handicap seating is available.

 

4. Do you offer group discounts? Yes, group discounts are available for groups of ten or more! Call 630-962-7000 for details, or visit our "Group Packages" tab under "Contact us" to submit a group package request.

 

5. For sold out shows, do you sell standing room only access? Often we will sell standing room in the back of the balcony for sellout shows.

 

6. Do you take checks?  Yes, personal checks ARE accepted at the Box Office. 

 

7. Is your bar cash only? No, credit cards are accepted for food and beverages 

 

8. How can I get early bird notice about your awesome shows? Join our VIP club to get the first opportunity at the seats you want for the shows.

 

9. When can we enter the theatre on event nights?  Doors open 1 hour before show time.

 

10. Do you offer discounts for seniors, children, etc., and do kids need a ticket even if a parent holds them? We do not offer discounts, and everyone must have a ticket. Theater is reserved seating for most shows. 

 

11. Where can I park? Street parking is available on North Avenue as well as on Riverside Ave, 2nd avenue or Walnut. The Harris Bank lot on the west side of Riverside drive, and the 2 story parking deck at 2nd and Walnut are other options.

 

12. Do you have any area restaurant recommendations? Riverside Pizza, Riverhouse BBQ, Szechwan are great!

 

13. Can I bring in my own water bottles, other beverages, or food? No outside food or drinks allowed.

 

14. Are your shows age restricted? Unless otherwise stated, Arcada shows are all ages.

 

15. What are the rules for photography?  No flash ever, pictures are ok during first 2 songs, NO professional cameras or camera with exchangeable lenses. Absolutely no video!

 

16. What are box office hours at the Arcada Theatre for walk in customers?

Mon - Fri  10am-6pm, Sat 12pm to 6 PM and Sun 12pm-4pm and 2 hours before our ticketed shows.

Box office stays open throughout intermission and 20 minutes past the end of the show.

 

17. Do you have food? Concessions are available & guests can partake in the theatre during the shows. Beer, wine, mixed drinks, soda, bottled water, popcorn, boxed candy & beef sliders on pretzel rolls are among the choices!

 

18. How big is the theatre?  Our theatre holds about 900 seats - 300 balcony and 600 main floor.

 

19. Where is Arcada Theatre? It is at 105 E. Main Street in downtown St. Charles, located on the south side of North Ave (Rte 64/Main Street). Between Routes 25 & 31.  It's just east of the Fox River, at Main St & Riverside Avenue.

 

20. Can I avoid the ticket fee? No. The ticket processing fee is the same online, at the box office or over the phone. 

 

21. I forgot my tickets, or they are not printing. Can you help me at the box office? If you are having trouble printing out your tickets  you can come to the box office the night of the show and we can look them up & reprint them for you.

 

22. How can I use a gift certificate purchased at the Arcada? You can use it like cash at our bar, or in person at our box office. OR, you can call our staff members at 630-962-7000 and they will assist you in making a ticket purchase.
