The smell of garlic and the sounds of Sinatra, Prima and Valli will once again fill the air of Centennial Park (Lake Street at Rohlwing Road) as the Annual Little Italy Fest-West returns to Addison. This celebration of Italian culture combines authentic Italian food specialties with unique, top-line entertainment and has become the number one Italian festival in the Chicago area. Approximately 20,000 festival goers each year enjoy beautiful European décor, delicious Italian foods , and top-notch entertainment provided by famous Italian American singers and performers from around the nation. This annual celebration of Italian culture located in the classic “The Heart of Chicago” generations–old Italian neighborhood draws approximately 25,000 attendees annually. The event features three stages of headline entertainment, great Italian wines, authentic Italian food specialties from the incredible restaurants located in that “Little Tuscany” area, Venetian-costumed performers, statues that line the street and a Florentine market filled with finely crafted Italian merchandise has added to what has become a Father’s Day weekend tradition for many families. The festival is traditionally held Father’s Day weekend.
Parking: There is ample street parking available on Western ave. and on Blue Island ave. A pay lot is available at Oakley and Blue Island (26th St.)
